Established in 2021, Eagle Wings Lighthouse Academy is a private institution offering holistic education that combines academics, practical life skills, languages, sports and character development.
We serve a mixed community of learners — children from working and middle-income families as well as children from vulnerable backgrounds — united under one high-quality learning environment. This is a well-rounded, structured school built on strong values and community.

Our story
From one child's story to a community's future.
In 2021, our founder Johnstone Mdavan Maelo met a young girl living in a dumpsite. He named her Bella, and her story became the spark behind a school that now serves dozens of learners from all backgrounds.
What began as an effort to help one child grew into a mission to give every child access to structured, quality education — supported by international partnerships and a new campus launched in March 2025.
